Cant start a career

Hi,

I have just had my computer fixed and career mode is not working. I have re-installed and still no success. It just says pcm11 is not responding as soon as I pick a team.

Did it work before? If yes, what exactly did you fix in your computer?
If you reinstalled the game, did you install the patch and DB as well?

It was sent to the computer shop as it would not turn on. And it worked fine before and yeh I installed the patch and then the database. Also un-installed it all and then just re-installed the game (no patch or database) and career still does not work. However a stage or stage race does.

Im really confused

This is a very rare problem and nobody found a solution for it, as far as I know.
Blame it on the computer shop, they did something to your computer which brakes the game.
