No bikes in multiplayer

When I host games online with the PCM Dailys db one or two players typically have problems with their graphics. For example they can't see the riders bikes or helmets and thus understandingly quit the game. The rest of the players have no graphical problems.

This never happened when I hosted games with the original db.

Have any of you guys experienced this and do you have any suggestions to solutions?

Btw. thanks to PCM Dailys for a great job on the db and for its major role in the PCM-community Banana

I can add that I did install the DB into a clean game - i.e. I Uninstalled the game first, then installed the game, installed patch 1.0.4.1 and then the PCM Dailys db V1.

Aside from the graphic problems in multiplayer the game works perfect.

I have seen that this topic has been created before but I have not seen any solutions.

Anyone?

Are you positive that everyone have the database installed?

No not at all - but is that really the problem?

I mean as long as the host uses a db (eg. the PCM Dailys db) all the players that join the game can use teams with the same stats - I thought that applied for gear as well (bikes, helmets etc.) If not it makes little sense to use the dailys db online as many players does not have the db installed and will quit multiplayer games when they experience the graphics bug.

If they don't have the DB installed, how do you want the game the load the files that come with the DB (e.g. equipment)?

The database file of the host is automatically downloaded to all participants, but that's it.
