I fear my career is ruined.
I got this sponsor Exxon Mobile which I signed in the start of the year. Now on 25th of October it has changed, but it gives me 0 money and it has no goals.
I have autosave so I can go back in time.
But I don't want to go too far back. Is there a way to edit the sponsor off and then pick another?
Please help. It's one of the best careers I've had |

You can edit a budget to your sponsor and add sponsor goals.
The sponsor is in the table DYN_sponsor, the goals in DYN_objectifs
If you do not want to edit the sponsor goals manually you have to fix your future sponsor before October. But I cannot help you with that because this is a new feature of PCM2011 and nobody seems to know how it really works. (But the columns would be in DYN_team, value_i_sponsor_future and value_i_sponsor_future2) |

Thx for the help.
I think I will edit them manually.
It's only a 2 year sponsorship. So it won't be much trouble. I assume the next sponsers won't be like this? Is it a general game bug or a bug just with this certain sponsor?
I am not very familiar with editing, so I think I should stay away from the future sponsor part if more experienced editors can't figure it out yet |

On this screen you have to select the races you want to be targets for your team. To do this you have to look at two things:
1. Table sta_races. Here you'll see all races of the year and the ID of each. This ID is what you have to put on the table "objective."
2. Sta_objetive_type table (or something similar). Here is the code explains what each objective. For example, if you want a career goal is to win you have to put the code 1, if you have to put a top10 Code 4, if you have to stage victory put the 9 ... and so on.
I hope to serve you, any questions you know |

Thank you very much
I guess it's a bit fishy to create your own goals.
But it's the only way to continue the career. It's better than no goals |

You can play without goals, it would not affect your career. Just take a piece of paper and make your own goals and try to follow them through the season. |

Sponsor happiness doesn't affect anything?
Not even the chance of getting a better sponsor in the future?
Or maybe the results decides this.
Then I won't waste my time adding superficial stuff to my career. |

No, it just does not affect anything. Why should the happiness of your actual sponsor affect future sponsors anyway. |

One minor question.
In the 3rd season the Tour de France is the stage variant as the prior season.
There are 6 variants in all. I don't know how this happened. But can I rename a file or something to get another variant? |

I don't understand your problem.
Basically the variants will be read in at the start of the career, so you need to edit the table STA_stage if you are in the 3rd season or the variants table (but I forgot its name).

If I could spel -l I would have wrote that the TDF variant in my 3rd season is identic to the one I just rode in the 2nd season.
That's the issue.
But I'll look into the editor. |

Are in already in the race or only at the begining of the season? The new stages will not be visible at the beginning of the season. |

It's a bug in the PCM.daily DB. You'll have to change the stages manually in STA_stage if you wish to have a different route. |
