You see, I am a recent French cycling enthusiast and want to start a serious and long history with a team from the Gallic country. The question I have it between running with Saur-Sojasun and Cofdis.
I do not like Europcar (although some of their riders) and FDJ. I love David Moncutié and Jeromme Coppel.
The idea is to climb and make a ProTour team exclusively French.
What is your suggestions?
Thank you all in advance, you are the best! |

So, do you hesitate between starting a career with Saur or Cofidis, or do you want to start a career with a French custom team?
If the former, I'd go with Cofidis, mainly because Moncoutié is awesome, and you have a good potential leader in Taaramäe. If the latter, well, dunno what to suggest apart from signing Tommeh.

haha ... that I think that Cofidis has much more potential. But since I know the rest of the teams of runners, so wondering if anyone could tell me something better and recommend a French team.
The question is whether run with Cofidis, Saur, or other french team, not with a custom team : P
Thanks for the reply

Then I'd definitely go with Cofidis. I like Europcar better, but you ruled them out, so Cofidis should be a cool team to start a career. You have Moncoutié for the mountains, Taaramäe with a big potential, plus the likes of Dumoulin, Duque or Ista for stage hunting. Big fun, imo.

I started a career with Saur last year and while they don't have top end potential they still have some strong younger riders. With cofidis, you'd have an aging moncoutie and a non-french taaramae as your leaders. |

Yeah ... that's another thing that makes me opt for Saur, is a young team with room for improvement. However, in Cofidis is Moncutié (whom I adore) very old and Taaramäe it is not French (we should let it out next year)
After thinking it over I think I'm going to swing by Saun-Sojasun. But, it will be very difficult to play on extrem?
Thanks for the reply, greetings |

If you want to have a really good French team then i suggest using an editor and have all your favourite French riders and no other nationalities

i would go with Cofidis since they have Moncoutie and in July try to sign more French riders.

Bretagne-Schuller would be a nice challenge, and you can uild your way up to the top of French cycling over a number of years.
Out of those two though I would say that Saur would be a good team to go with. If only so that you can try to win the Tour with Coppel at some point.

Bretagne-Schuller would be a pretty hard challenge, of course. But I know the French cycling so thoroughly as to start this adventure
Saur I think would be the best choice of all for what I want.
Thank you all for the answers! |

Saur. I believe that Coppel has much potential, and would be a good pick I believe. Plus their squad is entirely french, that's one thing ticked off your list.

My current save is with Cofidis.
Moncoutié and Taaramae have been good, but Vogondy has been the one winning the most for me.
It's been good to see the real riders winning stages at La Vuelta. |
