Can't select rider for race!

I have just started a new game with a custom team, and I have A. Contador in my team, 3 months have gone without him taking part in any race. When ever I try to register riders for race he never come in the list. Now I checked the current season and according to that he is racing in Tour der I'Ain which my team haven't registered to anyway.

How can I fix this problem?

theire was a bug in the early stage of the pcm.daily db wich made it impossible to select a spanish rider. To fix this problem install the latest pcmdaily db. Or use PCM Fast Editor => their you see the rider status ... If it says injured or inrace you cannot select him . Set it on Free => see the prtscreen

That explains why, but how can I change it using Lachi editor instead?

... Why would you want to use an outdated database? Update to V1.
