Hi
Is it possible to use 2 shirts from the ‘shirt database’ in my game?
I want to replace the HTC shirt with a GreenEdge one and also use one of the other fantasy shirts for a newly created team which I hope to create in the database editor under ‘add a new team’.
I have downloaded the 2 shirts and placed them in what I thought was the right folder – My Computer/ProgramFiles/Cyanide/PCM2011/Gui/TeamShirts.
However these 2 files are TGA files and all the other files in the folder are DDS files and when I open up the database to edit they don’t appear for me to select.
I know I am very naïve when it comes to anything database/graphic related and its normally trial and error. I spent hours yesterday reading through previous forum posts and all very confusing.
How do I change these 2 TGA files to make them DDS files and even if I do succeed in doing this will it even work?
I suspect from reading previous posts advice that there might be a lot more to it than this?

It's not as simple in PCM11 as it used to be.
If you want to add a team through an editor, don't use the one that comes with the game. It doesn't add a sponsor which is needed for the shirt to show up. Instead, use PCM Fast Editor, Lachi's Editor or similar. You have to edit DYN_team and DYN_sponsor.
One of the columns you're going to fill in is the jersey_sz_abbreviation. This is the name of the files and folders that you're going to create for your team.
The shirt files do not go to Gui/team_shirt, but to 3D/Cyclists/Cloth/Team/<the letters you typed in to jersey_sz_abbreviation>
The Gui/team_shirt folder is for mini shirts - the ones that show up before a race. There's a guide on how to make them here: https://pcmdaily.com/articles.php?arti...icle_id=94 |

I do have the fast editor downloaded and that does seem to make sense so ill give it a go.

Sorry for being so dumb but I still havent solved this.
Trying to replace HTC jersey with GreenEdge tga file (correct size).
I have renamed the GreenEDGE shirt gre_maillot and placed it in MyC/PFiles/Cyanide/PCM11/3D/Cyclists/Cloth/Team/thr.
I then used the fast editor to amend the team details and changed the abbreviation under the jersey_sz_abbreviation column from thr to gre.
The game still played with normal htc shirts.
I then removed the original thr_maillot from the team folder completely but that didnt change anything.
I know you mentioned the DYN_sponsor lines but I wasnt too sure what to do here. I tried copying my new gre file into the zco-hig folder but no success. In the end I removed both htc and highroad as sponsors for the team and I removed the 3 associated files in the zco-hig folder leaving just my new gre one there. Now the game plays with no htc jersey... hurray! but alas still no new GreenEDGE jersey...damm! The riders now seem to have a default plain white jersey which says 'focus' on it.
Surely I am close to conquering this - what am I still doing wrong.
ps - I dont wish to play with GreenEdge so im not worried if they have sponsors goals etc, I simply want the correct jersey to appear in 3D.

name the shirt thr_maillot instead of gre_maillot and it should work all fine. Ingame the team is still refered to as THR so it will look for those files. |

At least I thought it had. Instead, it changed my leopard-trek jersey into an endura jersey!!! What!?! What size does it have to be? |
