I was just wondering, do the rider preferences have any impact on his performance during their favourite races or is it just one of those meaningless things that remain from previous editions, like the equipment stars? |

It might have a tiny, tiny impact on moral, but it's absolutely nothing you should concern yourself about. I don't think I've ever paid any attention to the races they prefer and they've never given me any type of grief.
Most of the elements in PCM, such as this one, doesn't have any impact at all, they've just been added as a desperate attempt to improve the manager part. I.e. "press conferances" and media interaction. |

I believe they are useful, which could give rider a small bonus in certain races. Just like rider have a small bonus in races from his own country. And press conference is useful too, it can improve rider moral and reduce fitgure for some star riders. |

What did you think? The rider has to go there and cannot go to his hotel room and rest.
But I really don't know if or what Cyanide did think when they programmed that. |

It depands on riders and your choice, a few star riders, for example, petacchi, freire, will decreace fatigue if you select "talk in media" in press, if your choose "talk to rider", will increace fatigue. And other riders may be different. |

I don't think that you can increase morale and decrease fatigue with he same answer. So I think the morale would decrease if you select "talk to media". |
