Norway announced which riders who would be participating in the WC today; Hushovd, Boasson Hagen, Gabriel Rasch and Kurt Asle Arvesen. Since Thor and Edvald were pretty much a given there were some questions as to who the other two would be. Now, personally I think that Arvesen was a good choice, however I'm not too sure about Rasch. He is a decent rider and did a good job in the classics, but I would have felt a little bit better if Alexander Kristoff had been chosen.
Does anyone agree? |

It's better to have a couple of domestiques than a sprinter who can't win.

What? You...you mean to say that you... don't care? Do you have any idea how much that pains me? You know, this really hurts my feelings because your approval means so much to me! *sob* |

Rasch will work his ass off all day. A brilliant choice.
But it doesn't matter, none of them will win.

You need to practice your sarcasm a little bit more and depeche is actually right. We don't need a thread for Norway's NC team for the WC. Imagine if every user would start one for his own country.

Would have liked to see Nordhaug there instead of Arvesen. But I guess its a sentimental choice by Steffen Kjærgaard since Arvesen is retiring. Rasch is a good pick, will work his ass off for Hushovd and EBH |

I hardly see the problem, if this is something people are interested in discussing then the thread was pretty usefull, but if it's not then it will soon dissapear and you'll never have to see it again. And isn't the whole point of a forum that people can voice their opinions? Or should the moderators be able to close every single thread that they don't find "interesting"? If you look at this part of the forum there are only something like 4-5 threads that have 40+ replies, that doesn't mean we should close this forum for more threads.
PS: I have no plans regarding a career within comedy. |
