I think Chris Horner and Levi Leipheimer are favorites, along with Evans(if he's in it) and Schleck. The mountain TT will make it interesting |

Basso is competing aswell. Leipheimer is the favourite here, but Henao, Evans, Schleck's is also competing. |

Horner is not in, but Evans is. Here is the full roster: https://www.usaprocyclingchallenge.com...Roster.pdf
I think Henao, Evans and Baez will finish on podium with Henao as the winner ... :-)

Such a bad route, Leipheimer FTW.
They should have put the ITT up Pikes Peak.

Henao for sure ...and Baez, yes, I predict so. The mountain timetrial will do this job ... ;-) |

Truly a horrible route! I thought they would atleast put in a Mountain Top Finish, but I guess they will have atleast one thing to improve on, for next year.
I haven't seen the startlist yet, but it sounds like Henao and Levi are the favourites. Personally I think Henao can take it, since the TT isn't flat, he wouldn't have to make up more than about 20-30 seconds I'd say on the Aspen stage to beat Levi.

The mountains aren't as exiting as the organizers said they would be. American race organizers. |

Frandy is there, as is Cuddles.
Start list is good for this one.

Don't get fooled by the profile, it isn't a MTT. It averages less than 3% over 16km if my numbers are correct.

Yes, over the hole 16km the average is ~3% because of the more or less flat first half. But at the second 8 km there are ~5% average ... |

Isn´t the highest point of the TT at 2800m? That makes it harder than the gradients indicate.

It needs to be over 10% to be real hard, and exciting. |

No it doesn't. But it seldom goes over 5%, so it suits the likes of Leipheimer better than the likes of Henao, imo.
