Stats & variants only db?

Does anyone know of a good db which just contains updated rider stats (and names ofc) & variants?

I only care about the gameplay in pcm, so I don´t want additional equipment, races and stuff like that. I only play with good teams, so only variants for Pro Tour races (or whatever they´re called now) are needed.

You can download Boogerd DB and take the variants from a different DB (they don't depend on the DB, so you can easily just copy the needed files from CM_Stages, no matter what DB you use).

It's not a good idea to use PCMFreaks' DB since it's not fully compatible with the latest patch.

Thanks. So basically I can just copy all the "top" files ( the ones with either a year or a version number before "_top_" ), and the game automatically uses these variants?

Have Cyanide actually managed to make something which is simple AND works? Doesn´t seem right... Wink

If you want to make sue that you don't miss anything, you have to check the file names in all the files ending with .descr in CM_Stages/variants (they can be opened with Notepad).

But generally, look for files named vX (e.g. v1_top_giro_01) and year_XXXX_XXXX (e.g. 1998_top_giro_01)-

And yes, it's pretty awesome that variants are that easy to use with your own / any other DB Wink
