First try to run the game by double clicking the PCM.exe
If that does not work, then use the uninstall function in the start menu. |

oh hey that worked
but it is annoying now because the start menu (menu with manual, track editor, database editor etc.) doesnt come up it just goes straight into the game..

@CartofCubic: No you don't have to activate again if you neither deactivate the game during the uninstallation nor re-activate it after the installation.
@mattie524: Why would that be annoying? I consider that start menu annoying because I want to go straight into the game. |

in your procycling manager directory, you find a directory autorun, there you find an exe directory.
There you can start autorun.
Also in de procycling directory you find somewhere a file called unninst000, if you click on that you also can uninstall the game |

You can redownload the game through the e-mail you received when you bought the game |

Uhm ... you could do like me: Install the game and patch and make a copy of that folder every time you want to "reinstall". Takes 10 minutes, no CDs are ever needed, doesn't get much easier. |

Avin:
I don't see an advantage there. I can make copies of the downloaded files and I don't have to worry about scratching, breaking or losing the DVD.
Also the installation process itself is totally identical no matter what version you bought, even the copy protection is the same.
But the ecological footprint might be bigger for the DVD also the developer might get more money when buying the online version because only one distributor takes away his shares. |

Collectors choice? So, how much are you willing to pay me for my CyM1-PCM5 selection? |

I'm getting a new computer this week.
If I install from the CD onto it do I have to activate or can I just copy the files from the old machine and drop them into the new machine? |
