ill keep it simple as i am sure there is something so simple i am not doing correct - i open lachi's editor, extract current save game db, add faces to the db as outlined in the faces thread (tutorial) and then extract as cdb to overwrite current save db. and it doesnt work

is it that i cant add graphics like faces to a save game db? or am i doing something else simply wrong?

What does not work?
If your editing is in the save DB then it must be another issue.
Did you activate the one texture per rider option (don't know if this option is needed)

i read in the "faces" thread in graphics forum that adding faces to a saved career db wont work so i think this must be why. i added a bunch of faces to saved game db using your editor mate and then when i reopened it the files werent there. due to it being a saved game db...i hope Smile

Adding faces to a save-game will work just fine.

thanks CT. i just recall it being said in the "faces" thread in graphics forum that one cannot add faces to a saved game usin pcm exp db. but then it seems that that opinion changed somewhat and some could add them and still some couldnt. so clarification is good. i tried the other night - used lachi's editor - added 7 faces following cogneto's kind tutorial; completing all relevant tables and exported db overwriting current save. then clicked on current save and the faces werent there. hence my questions since. i shall try again though Smile
