I've tried and tried, searched everywhere for tips, tried those...and failed misserably every time
It seems I simply cannot figure out how to ride a decent TTT
I'm testing it on the first stage of Tirreno Adriatico (16K flat TTT).
I've tried riding with all riders and also riding only with the good TT'ers.
I've tried starting fast, starting slow, maintaining a medium speed at all times and so on...either way I simply cannot get a decent time.
The thing that REALLY annoys me is, that Leopard-Trek can win the stage every time, even though they only have only Cancellara and 1 other guy with 74TT rating (no others pull their train any ANY time), while I have Hagen (78TT), Löfkvist (76TT) and 2 others with 76TT and 74TT rating respectively.
This really just drives me nuts!
So, I'm hoping some of you guys can offer a few tips.
Specifics in regard to effort, rotation etc. in regard to a TTT of that lenght/type will of course be great
Edit:
P.S. What makes this even worse is the fact that my team is the only team listed as favourite for the stage, with BMC, HTC and AG2R as outsiders...Leopard isn't even mentioned!

I've experienced several times, that you have to put the effort bar far higher than you actually think. Furthermore I increase the time respective to the given riders TT attribute. So that Hagen will relay for 16-18 secs, Löfkvist for 15-16 secs and so on.
If you're already playing it this way, then I cannot help you any further

Just put all on 99%. Even after they run dead, they drive fast, faster than the other teams. That's the only tactic that has ever worked for me :/
That was the tactic I used to do CartofCubic with just the good riders relaying for minutes and it works well but it's silly ....
Only until recently did I find out the traditional way works too, use all riders ranging from about 7 seconds to 18 works best. Once they run out of yellow then stop relay. Like harmonium says you really really have to ramp up the effort so for a 20k TTT 94% is good and adjust from there. Once your best riders are left at the end take it up to 99%. Hope that helps ^_^. I only use this method now it's so strong.
I'm gonna try your method it seems to be good. I think the gameplay was strongly change from PCm 2009 to 2010 and 2011...With the tactic from the video I have results like the simulating ones.
The way it finally worked was by setting effort to 99% for all, putting the non-TT riders at the back (not doing any relays) and letting Hagen and Löfkvist pull for insanely long time.
It felt pretty chaotic, since I was rotating the line a lot (to keep the guys with a little energy near the front and ready to pull, and to make sure that only Hagen and Löfkvist would pull after all energy was gone and the green bars started to get close to 0).
Luckily Hagen had +2 form and Löfkvist +4 form on that run (which may have made the difference in the end, since I only just managed to win by 1 sec )
