Error after changing Varients & reinstalling Patch 1.0.0.1

Well, Im in the season 2014 now and the TdF variant was the same as the year before.So I used fast editor and edited the sta_stage filename line(put the name of the emmea variants in it).
After that I installed Patch 1.0.1.1 over 1.0.4.4 and reinstalled the PCM Expansion Pack.
The problem is that now the game crashes as soo as i try to load my career Sad
can anyone help me out there?

Why did you install that particular patch? Keep 1.0.4.4.

I dont like the KI at the mountains after the first patch, its is like in the PCM 08-10 that mostly big groups of 8 riders+ arrive at the last 2 kms, so that every mountain stage is like a sprint...i think thtas not realistic.
EDIT
I tried Patch 1.0.4.4, it works again
is there any possibility to play my savegame with the first patch
