What determinates the overall difficulty? I mean, you can choose it in Options and when you create a new carrer. So if you pick Easy when starting your carrer, while you have Hard in Options, what do you get? I mostly ask cause I dont remember what I chose when I started my carrer, so I'm wondering if I can change the difficulty of my carrer in Options, or it only applys if I start a new carrer?

The difficulty that you pick before a career is the financial difficulty and decides how much of your rider salaries that will be covered by the sponsor money.
The difficulty in Options decides the performance of the AI in 3D races. |

Oh okay, thanks. So if I change the difficulty in Options, it will have effect in an on-going carrer?

i believe you can change it anytime...just not during a race

The career difficulty, and the race difficulty are not linked so if you change the race difficulty, the career difficulty will not change, as I believe the only way to edit the career difficulty is with an editor.

There is no need (or way) to edit the career difficulty because the game only uses it at the very start of the career to determine the initial budget.

The difficulty you choose at the start of career gives you bigger or lower money per month:
Easy- You receive a bigger amount of money than the wage bill every month.
Normal-You receive the same amount of money of the wage bill every month.
Hard-You receive a lower amount of money than the wage bill every month.
But yes, there's no way to change it.
