Coming into a 2012 season on a new career of mine, I saw that Mark Cavendish, Fabian Cancellara and Phil Gilbert are free agents. None of their teams were relegated or anything, they just went off contract and no-one offered.


So, this poses the question. What are the strangest free agents (quality wise) that you've seen in your careers?

In PCM 2010, Cadel and Di Luca were free agents in 2012 (2 seasons).

In my current career, in 2012, Boom and Rojas are free agents.

On the other hand, ex-doped riders are rocking the early season. Schumacher, Dekker and Ricco.
