Hello everybody!
I have a question: how can I spare with the green bar? The AI's riders regeneration is always excellent in stage races, while my riders regeneration is falling (very good, good, etc.). In the first half of the race i'm just sitting in the peloton with 50% (hearth rate 120-130), but when the peloton accelerates my riders starts to be tired. How can I keep them in excellent-very good regeneration? It's irritating that AI has just relaxed riders, while I doesn't have.
Thanks for answers!

An option is to increase the % you're riding on (I don't have '10, but '11 and there that number is flashing red when you're riders has trouble of hanhging on in a group). It sounds plausible: when the others go faster, you have to go faster as well

I believe it depends on how much effort you put in on the previous day. If you attack alot and exhaust your riders every day then it will go down quickly. You could also check the recovery-atribute of your riders, it has a lot to say.
Lastly, you can't really prevent it. Also, how do you know how good the AI is regenrating? As far as a I know there isn't any place you can see it. |

Another way to improve regeneration is simulating a stage. In the next stage, the green bar has filled up quite a bit and the (written) regeneration gets better.

But isn't that technically cheating? |

Well, if he feels disadvantaged by the game and only wants the same conditions for his riders, I wouldn't call that cheating.
And if Cancellara is often 20th-30th in the last TT of the TDF because of his small green bar, there has to be something wrong.

Thanks for answers everybody!
@dienblad: Yes, I increase the %, but they are just suffering and all the bars start to lose. Next day they'll be tired. Another trick that I use ride solo button with 40-45%: the regeneration will be better but they come last and get so much time that I can just fight for the 120. place.
@cactus-jack: If I scout a rider in the stage his green bar is longer then my rider's. Secondly when I simulate races I get excellent regeneration always, so I think AI saves more green then me.
@cio93: Yes, I just can do the simulations, but I like to play every stages. |

If your rider is not fit, then he will use more green during the stage. During the "night" the the bar will be refilled based on the recovery stat.
So basically make sure that your cyclists are fit and that they are not riding in the wind. Also do not forget to get water. |
