When I click 'Play' , the game seems to start, but I only see the white screen flashing for a half second. So I can't play the game, ayone who knows a solution? |

Go to the folder where you installed the game into. There should be a folder called videos, rename this folder so that the game does not find it anymore and try again. |

You can also go to Program file/cyanide/PCM20011 and make a right click on PCM.exe/proprietes/compatible/check open as administrater.
You can directly open PCM with PCM.exe.
A good thing is also to close every application you don't need and desactivate your anti-virus.
Sorry for my english. |

Did the game run before or never?
Have you installed the patch already? If yes, did you install it using admin rights? |

I played the game for a month now, but suddenly it doesn't work anymore.
I installed the patch, and I did it while using admin rights... What am I doing wrong?? |

Why didn't you say that before?
If the game stops working, this could be because of a corrupt save or local.cdb. Or the cache is broken.
Try this:
Open this folder: my documents\pcm2011\users\your name\database\solo\name of DB\
Move all files out of this folder and try to run the game. If the game works, and you want to continue your career then put the latest file from the weeklysave into the mentioned folder and load it in the game.
If it does not work, rename the pcm folder in My documents, then start the game.
If the game works, then you might have to restore the local.cdb (if you play with the DB from pcmdaily)
If it still does not run, then start your explorer (not internet explorer) and type %APPDATA% into the bar, then press Enter. Now you should see a pcm folder, open it and delete all folders except the folder called Users. Try to run the game. |

I tried all the things you said but nothing works. I even reinstalled the game, but even that didn't work. Is there realy no other solution? I would be very sad if I can't play my favourite game anymore... |

It has to work if you remove all the traces of this game, and then re-install.
Else the problem does not come from the game. But Merckx Belgique already told you to turn off the anti-virus.
In this case the only solution would be to wipe your hard disk and do a clean install of your windows. |

@miniposti: I did not understand you.
Is your problem related to the one of samieboy_6_?
Did you do the things I suggested in the thread? |
