While I have been venturing amongst this forum for a short time now, until recently, I have never scrolled down the page further than the PCM11 threads and therefore have never walked amongst the other great and exciting threads! But now I have come across them...and even being a little late as a introduction...I am here to say hello.
I live in Australia, the country's capital of Canberra to be exact, and my passion for cycling started when I began to dabble in triathlons. From the moment I bought my first road bike and hopped on - it was instant love. The feeling one gets at top speed on a road bike is something out of this world. A crash will set you back - and as I have experienced, it tends to make one a little hesitant to get back on the bike for a while - but ultimately the love for that top speed and feeling of freedom prevails.
I came across the awesome game PCM11 by chance actually. Having never been a gamer, I purchased a new laptop which was well overdue and after some time with it, I typed in computer games --> sport into Ebay and soon enough up pops Pro Cycling Manager 2011. I quickly learnt that I couldn't buy it in Australia and that I could download it except the size was double my monthly internet allowance, but neither of these was going ot stop me from purchasing it. So I did and here I am on this forum by the way of googling for help.
I would like to say thanks to all who have helped me thus far as I am a complete newbie to the world of computer games. So while I am technologically capable, all the magic that is adding jerseys and races etc to files has all been a bit overwhelming. But now it isn't thanks to some truly awesome people on this forum. Also to the people who create databases, jerseys and numerous other great features to incorporate in the game and just make it a better game to play - a massive thanks. Your kind hearts to do it all for a simple thanks from others is truly awesome.
