After loosing motivation for PCM10 I decided to play some PCM09. However, I can't play without taking screens (I am the new valverde321) Exoctic riders and Region based teams seems to be the deal on the forum at the moment but I decided to go for an stroy about an UCI Europe Tour cylist and his way to the Pro Tour. I have some new ideas coming up.
Life as Contineltal Cyclist
Not every young and promising riders signs an pro contract at the age of 18. Many riders have to fight for an contract in the Continelntal Tour while they develope into stars. It's not an easy life, you have to fight for every posistion in the race and if you're without prize money when the race has ended you could be without food as well. It's an life full of crazy kermis races, partys, drugs and doping, cycling, training, angry Dutchs and cooky Englismen far away from Tour de France and pro contracts. This is the stroy about Jaques Van den Bergh an 18 years old Belgian cyclist, who does his first year as U23 cyclist.
Welcome to my first blog. First of all I want to excuse for my website who looks like hell now but I will fiw it when I find more time. Right now I am very bust because I am participating in the u23 Vuelta ao Portugal and today was the first stage.
National coach Axel Merkcx told us that is was an flat stage today. Between us: He must be out of his mind! It's up and down all day, I would be happy if I could stay with the bunch...
I could have been happy but I had to drop when the bunch was splitted in the final climb to Baltar with only 27kms left. Italian, Portuguese and Spanish U23 teams made the pace hard.
Fernand Heyvaert, who is my team-mate in this race attacked in the final climb. He was given an gap of 40 seconds but was caught in the downhill. I was really sorry for Heyvaert even though he was my worst enemy last year. He is an good climber and always made me drop in the climbs by attacking a lot.
Michele Campedelli (u23 Androni Giocattoli) won the sprint ahead of two Poruguese riders, João Luìs Generoso (Madeinox - Boavista) and Marco Coelhoo (Barbot - Siper). I had an bad day and finished 163rd, 3'26 minutes behind the bunch and far away from the cameras so I couldn't find any photos on me today, sorry :( I will update this blog post when I find the Fianl kms video on Youtube. However, I will take an massage first and then an shower before jumping into my compression pants.

Comments: @tsmoha: Thanks. I hope it's good, at least. @:mocker1: Yep, you will be able to follow, and watch! :D
Yeah, I always struggle to play without taking screens. Sometimes I wish I could just play without having to make a story out of it, but I guess my stories are alright anyway.
Nice idea too, but what are Van Den Bergh's stats?
I just came home from 5 days in Portugal. 3 days contained racing and the first flat stage was no hit for me. Either the 2nd or the 3rd stage was any success so I am home without contract and I will have to wait untill next mission with the national team :( Nevertheless it was an strange race. Maxim Lutsishin (Caja Rujal) won the 2nd stage and was clearly the strongest but his team was too weak compared to u23 Androni Giocattoli. u23 Androni Giocattoli made an excellent team performance on stage 3 and took an 1-2. Double victory wasn't enough though, they also took the GC with Tommaso Toccoli.
Stage 2
Stage 3
Next race up is G.P. Waregem in Belgium. I will do the race for my club, Breendonk - Ommegang. My goal is an top-10 since I am a decent cobbler with an good finish. However, some of you have been asking for my stats but truth is there isn't any, yet, since I haven't been mad in any PCM database :)
