Hello ladies and gentlemen,
After discovering this great PCM and cycling website and reading some great stories here, i decided to start a story myself. PCM 11 seems as the best cycling game in years so far (despite some minor bugs of course) so
I will go with it.
I have tried to learn the basics of storywriting by reading a lot of stories during last month, but I am still a beginner and I would be very glad for some tips and suggestions.
My goal is to establish a long-term story, updates will not be super-frequent, but my heart will beat for the team and our fans! Also change of reporting style on the run is highly possible, as i will try to find the best way to do it.
Take this as some sort of presentation of a story-writer, i will give you a team name and another important info later today.

Team announcment and overview
Lampre–ISD is successor of one of the best italian cycling teams in last 20 years, established in 1991 as Lampre-Colnago-Sopran. In 2005 two italian teams (Lampre and Saeco) was merged into one, after that Lampre emerged as the major cycling force in Italy, together with Liquigas.
Lampre is an Italian manufacturer of prefinished steel sheet materials. ISD is a Ukrainian steel manufacturer. The team is a member of the UCI ProTour, and has been since the tour was formed as the top category of road cycling in 2005.

AS you can see, our sponsors expect great performances throughout the whole season, some goals will be very tough to achieve. I will reveal our leaders targets later, but especially top 3 at Tour de France and winning the Vuelta should be from the land of the dreams.

The "Little Prince" is coming back to his top form and the opponents should watch out for him! Damiano will try to get us nice result at Tirreno-Adriatico, then he should be on top form at Ardennes classics before tuning up for his main goal Tour de France, where he will be our certain leader. After that, we will probably see him at some late season classics.

Michele is true italian professional and the icon of Lampre. As one of the greatest climbers in the world he will be our team leader at the most prestigious race for us - Giro d' Italia. If you think one Grand Tour is enough for him, you are wrong as Scarponi will also challenge the hills and mountain of Spain at La Vuelta, race very important for our sponsors.

"Ale Jet" is not the youngest, but still pretty fast sprinter with great recovery. Will we see the repeat of 2005 success as Alessandro is targeting La Primavera once more? After two months rest Ale Jet will try to achieve our personal goals by taking the point jersey at Giro and Vuelta.

my tip: if you will go to custom team, don´t make disbalance in PT teams, taking (future) stars from them as many others do. try to be as much realistic as possible, I´d like to see story of team based on some region (like Kissaha or SportingNonsense), central Europe would be great

Thanks for the tips guys, but i will maybe surprise you and go with the real team story. I had pretty nice custom team in my mind (be sure beagle it was central European) but i dont like the way how pcm 11 handles the custom teams, especially team goals - wise.
So now real team, central european custom team myabe in the future

So i didn't choose crappiest team, but it can be crappy in my hands even with Lampre

Australian National Chapmionships review
Like every year in January, cycling season starts in sunny Australia, where the local riders fought for the title of Australian champion in both road race and TT. Lets see how it went:
Road race
This was a great race for Team Sky as the new champion Rogers and his teammate Sutton made double for them. Interesting fact is, that Cadel Evans was not present at this race. As you can see, teams Sky and Garmin were very dominating.
Time-trial
Michael Rogers continued his NC dominance by winning the time-trial too after his two days old road race success. Rory Sutherland grabed nice 2nd for his continental team. Cadel Evans was on the start this time, but he is probably not in the good form as he finished outside the podium on 4th.
Congratulations to old-dog Rogers for this great achievement, it will be interesting to see if he is going to Tour Down Under in his new colours.

First two racing months for us will not be so hectic as we will compete in 4 shorter stage races and 4 one day classics. The riders fitness is not very good at the moment, so early season races are for tuning it up for important sponsors goals in March.

Race Favourites:
Some top-sprinters are present, like Cavendish, Farrar or Greipel .Lets see if their teams will be able to control the race, or will we see riders with great fighting spirit as Flecha or Carrara attacking successfully on the Willunga hill?
Team Lampre-ISD riders
In normal circumstances this would be the race profile exactly for Grega Bole and we would expect overall podium. But Grega is sadly in very diappointing condition at the start of the season and even staying with the peloton could prove to be very tough for him. So no real expectations for us, Grega should fight for at least one top 10 and Spezialetti is our man for attacks.
First reports coming out in the afternoon...

Yeah love the layout, and Lampre are one of my favourite teams in PCM, because I had my greatest career ever with them.
You should do well with Bole at the TDU.
