Create new rider

I tried to create a new rider for my team in my career but now it is causing my game to crash when I click on the team menu tab. Any idea what I might have screwed up/missing. I was using Lachi's editor. I did a search for a guide/advice on how to add new riders but did not find anything.

Thanks for any help.

If I were you I would just use the ingame editor if you only want to create a rider, it's easier and you can't balls it up. When you've done that you can go into Lachis Editor and add some of the values that won't be there which are just preferred weather.

I am doing something wrong because even when I try to create a rider using the ingame editor, the game crashes.

After creating the rider, do I just have to same the XML. I have been "exporting the database and saving over the career file. I think the option is "create new database".

I had the same problem. I finally solved it by creating the new rider in the database i was planning to use in career mode, instead of modifying the career database itself. And it works perfectly.

You should probably take note of how many riders are in the team you are trying to add the new rider to. I think part of the problem might be when you try to add a new rider to a team that already has 30(max) riders.
