hey,
this year i'm again did not buy the dvd version of the game but the webinstaller version. of yourse with new databases it's often recommended to reinstall the game. of course, that way the 3 registrations you get before you have to ask for new activation are gone very fast.....
is there again a way to re-activate pcm11 yia registrey keys?
since this is (or was in pcm 09) ONLY working if the game was bought for that specific computer/OS i think this is okay to ask
thanks |

Why does nobody realize that it's possible deactive the game and regain the activation ?
I know this isn't an answer, but there's simply no real need to... |

I think that the description of Anonymer is missleading. You don't regain an activation. But when you install, you are told that the game is already activated and it asks you to start without reactivating. If you click on YES then you dont have to use another activation.
But you can also save the keys from the registry. I do it after I have installed the game for the first time. Because if you do it after you have installed a patch, then you always have to install the game and that specific patch before you can reactivate the keys in the registry. Here is what you should do:
Search the registry for Cyanide or Cycling. You should find 3 folders which are related to PCM2011. Export them at a save location. To re-register the game to the registry you just have to double click these exported registry files.

The other way that works for me: when I first installed the game, I copy pasted the game folder to an external drive. When I need a clean install, I just delete my folder in Program Files and replace it with the one on my external drive and apply the latest patch. Works great! |

Of course, this is the easiest way. But it does not work if you re-install your Windows, then the registry is the only way to do it. |

I cannot post a screen because I don't have the game installed on this machine.
You have to search the REGISTRY for CYANIDE.
(If you have windows 7 then press the windows button, enter regedit, then press enter, else google if you do not know how to start regedit.exe) |

Is your problem solved now? Please use complete English sentences if possible.
BTW: You do not need to quote all my words. |
