mb2612
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUtdu6.jpg
The final stage and Davis has sown up the GC, only a crash can stop him now. He is also favourite for the stage, with Yesterday's big loosers, Cavendihs and Ciolek looking to rival him
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0150.jpg

Hollister work hard to control the break as 13 riders try and get clear
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0151.jpg

10 are eventually allowed: Pauwels, Crawford, Matthews, Mohlmann, Nishitani, Gaur, Vogt, Bajadali, Signego and Gudsell
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0152.jpg

Nishitani wins the sprint ahead of Vogt, Bajadali getting third
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0153.jpg

Matthews climbs fastest, Signego and Pauwels next
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0154.jpg

The second sprint is the same as the first, except Bajadali swaps with Vogt
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0155.jpg

30km to go is waste energy time, as Priamo goes for it, the break are two minutes in front of the peleton
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0156.jpg

Matthews wins the second climb to put him level on points with Pineau, Nishitani and Bajadali are next.

17km to go and Traksel attacks the peleton
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0157.jpg

13km to go and as we crosss the line for the penultimate time Matthews is ending the tour as he started it, solo.
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0158.jpg

No glory for him today, as Hollister take control yet again
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0159.jpg

6km to go and again Cav and Ciolek are on Davis's wheel
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0160.jpg

5km to go and Brandle goes for an attack
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0161.jpg

Brandle's gap grows with 4km to go
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0162.jpg

As Dempster kicks off the sprint, Brandle has a 20 second advantage
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0164.jpg

Crocket kicks round the final hairpin, Brandle is back in the fold
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0165.jpg

Dempster and Davis shut the door on Crocket, Docker goes for it down the other side
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0166.jpg

Davis doesn't look so fresh as Docker is quicker than him, Dekkers, is waiting in Docker's wheel
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0167.jpg

It's Davis vs Docker
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0168.jpg

And Davis takes the win, the tour, and the points jersey. He has been unstoppable in Australia
i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z334/mb1226/Tour%20Down%20Under%202012/CUsersMBDocumentsProCyclingManager2011UsersbrownwmScreenshotsTDUPCM0169.jpg

Docker gets second, with Crocket, Dekkers and Ciolek finishing in the top 5.

This means that Impey gets second overall, with Gasparotto, Marinangeli and Gerrans finishing behind him. The Oz cycling Project wins the team competition to give home fans even more to cheer about
