Hey!
I want to change a riders specialisation and his favourite races. The problem is, I don't know how. Someone who can help me out?
I use Lachi's editor.
Thanks in advance. |

I don't think you can change the specialisation, but I don't think it really matters. Not sure about favorite races... |

If it's determined by the stats, why is Rasmus Guldhammer's specialisation Northern classics then? He has 67 in cobble, but 71 in Mountain and 70 in hills.
I want to make him a climber or a puncher, because it's his favourite type of races IRL, and change his favourite races from cobble classics to something else.
Do the favourite races change, if the riders specialisation change in career mode?

This is how it works: The game calculates a weighted average for all rider types and selects the best. In simple words, the cobbles stats is not the only stat which matters for cobbled riders. Same goes for mountain stat and mountain riders. Ask me, if you need to know the exact formula.
The easiest way would be to reduce his cobbles stats. The game will update his specialisation if you continue with your career and in the next season the game would generate other favorite races.
If you want to change the races now, then edit the column gene_ilist_fkIDfavorite_races.

There is not just 1 stat for northern classic.
Every specialisation has an average of specific stats. The highest of all these averages defines the specialisation.
So together with his other stats the Northern Classic average seems to be higher than his climber average. |

Sorry! I rushed my questions a bit. I know that several stats determine the specialisation. I will try to reduce som of the stats that make him a cobble rider.
Lachi can you give me the exact formula for cobble riders?
Thanks for your fast answers.

Calculation of the average:
Take the stats of the cyclist and multiply them with the related ratios as defined in the table STA_type_rider. Then sum the calculated values.
If you want to calculate the cobble AVG then you have to look in the row "flandrienne". ardennaise would be hilly.
You have to calculate the AVG for all rows to find the "specialisation", which would be the highest value.
I attached the ratios in case you do not want to use an editor to open STA_type_rider.
