Not true, why do you keep saying this, I told you it before?
There's a chance it could be 100% compatible, but if its made for patch 1.0.0.0 it might not have all the new db changes that come with the patches after it.

Maybe because he is right? All DBs do work with all patches.
It would be better to take a new DB because of the content. But the patch 1.0.4.4 did not made any changes in the DB beside rider stats, so you can use all DBs which have been released after patch 1.0.3.0

Yeah I focused too much on "work" rather than compatible. Any db will work, but it may have compatibility issues , which is what I meant.
I still dont like the general statement that "any db will work with any patch", since I've experience first hand that there can sometimes be issues when using a db not made for the patch that was currently installed.

I came across a problem with having blank news item when a sponsor search finished using PCM Daily Expansion v0.5 and the 1.0.4.4 patch. CrueTrue said it happened because the expansion was not compatable with that patch. |
