Performance of a rider is related to his fitness. Do you use a good training schedule? How is his fitness? If the fitness is not the problem, then he could have an injury. |

if you ride a race, your rider will get tired. that could explain the underperforming. if you want the optimum result, just focus on 1 grand tour |

To add a thing:
Previous races (and the efforts there) have no direct influence on the performance of a rider in PCM. Theoretically, a rider could ride one-day classics for 50 consecutive days without a drop in performance over the time.

Yes. The riders recover fully after each race. The recovery stat is only important within the 3 GT races. (Which means that the statement of crazyman2008 is totally wrong.)
But you should never use level 6 in the training schedule of the riders who should ride more then one GT. Level 6 increases the fatigue rapidly and from a certain fatigue riders lose fitness (the maximum fitness will drop).
The only way to regain the maximum fitness is to reduce training to level 1 for some weeks. Which means you would not have enough time to build the form for the next GT. |

Well his fitness is 95 and he has no injuries, yet he still performs worse than people who he is better than him in the mountains????
