Stage to Database nightmare!!!
shakety
I've been trying to get the stage I made onto the database for about two weeks now and found a great tutorial by imthegamesguy on you tube but I am still stuck.

I have created the race in PCM 2010 DB editor and have filled in most boxes but in the box called XML file (the stage file) I am stuck. I have gone to
C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010\Classifications
However, the only files the game is looking for are XML files. That cannot be changed. But I need the CDS file. Please help me.

Just leave it blank and save. Then open the database file with a different editor (PCM Fast Editor / Lachi's Editor) and fill in the blank space.

I export the stage to CM_stages but it doesn't come up on my windows browser.

and onn the stage editor you can see it but it is only a ZCTS file.

You have to export the zcts file to cds and zces files using the Stage Editor.

I have the same problem when wanting to upload my CDS file of the stage. The browser only shows XML classification files and not the CDS files.
Now I have downloaded the PCM fast editor, but I do not kwon how to upload the stage into the database using this fast editor. Can anyone tell me the procedure of uploading a stage using the Pcm fast editor??

This thread is not about uploading files. CrueTrue helped linking a stage file to a stage in the database.
If this is what you want to do, then just write the name of the file in the correct column.
Look at the existing stages in the database to see how it should be.
You have to put the stage files into the correct folder in the game directory manually after all.
