Adding free riders to teams

At the start of a new season Wiggins and a couple of other good(ish) riders have no contract. I would like to add Wiggins back to the Sky team as it seems the best solution. Now it seems pretty straight forward to give the rider a contract in lachi's editor but I am in doubt regarding two of the columns. What does "IDxchange_cyclist" and "fxIDstatut" do?

I am guessing by giving a "1" in "fxIDstatut" Wiggins will be absolute leader but I have no clue regarding the "IDxchange_cyclist".

I edited Wiggins contract in "DYN_contrac_cyclist" so he will again ride for Sky and not have a one year sabbatical. However, I must have missed something because when I export the savegame and reopen in the game he is still a free rider. I edited the line in the red box of the attached image.

What did I miss?

I'm not an expert on save-game editing, but I noticed two things in the screenshot:

In DYN_cyclist, you have to set Wiggins fkIDteam to Sky's ID, 30.
fkIDcontract has to be set to 2024, the ID of the contract that you have created.
