You probably chose the US as your managers country of origin. Whatever country you choose, that's where the majority of young riders are going to be from

yep,
except if you chose a nationality like lithuania. As there are not enough lithuanian young riders, you can also chose some other nationalities |

In the first versions before patches you would have riders from all nationality regardless of the managers nationality. That has changed after one of the patches (dont remember which) |

@Enea Viscido: You are mixing two things.
If you start a career with a custom team, then all riders come from "your" country. This has been discussed here.
In the other thread, they discuss the generation of young rider in general. |

I personally don't agree with that.
Because I love 1 country challenges, especially with non-traditional countries.
For example, try to get Austria, Switzerland or Czech Republic to the top... |

i think it should be realistic. all the good young riders should come from the major cycling nations like in real life with the odd one or 2 coming from elsewhere.
where's the challenge in making a top Czech team if you know your going to get garanteed young riders coming through.
the challenge is finding out the good riders and making a compramise. i'm going to do a career with Columbia es Passion but i know that at some stage i'm going to have to abandon the columbian only policy if i want to move up to the pro-tour.

@ringo182: You are missing the point too. In this thread we discuss the fact that you can only select riders from your own country when starting the career with a custom team.
The creation of the young riders is another issue and can be discussed there: https://pcmdaily.c...ost_425099 |
