I have been wondering how the three financials in the upper left corner - 'end of period balance', 'sponsor revenues' and 'salary funds' - are related.
I mean, it is only the upper one - 'end of period balance' - that is affected at any point in the season.
What are their relations?
And can I get a basic explanation of what the three financials are and what they affect? |

sponsor revenues - amount of money you receive from you sponsors each month
salary funds - amount of money you need to pay to your riders and staff each month
end of period balance - i guess this tells you how much money you will have at the end of period - probably at the end of season, or maybe its amount of money you had last month.

EoPB - is the amount of money left over (at the end of the season) if you attend the current races on the calendar but didn't get any prizemoney (handy to see whether you can hire more staff)
or at least, that's the way is was on PCM10 |

So when my sponsor revenues is at, let us say 2.5 million euros, I receive 2.5 million euros each month. I do not believe that.
Is it maybe so, that the salary I use outside the 'salary funds' I receive each month I have to pay with my balance.
e.g. I use 375.000 but my salary funds are only 300.000, then I have to pay 75.000 from my balance (the upper financial post of the three, the one in green, the one which changes from month to month.)
Can someone give me an asnwer which they know is the truth and not just guessing. Someone must know something of the finances. Or maybe the finances are just so obvious that I am the only one not figuring them out.

I have not got the game in front of me right now but the sposors revenue is what you will get over the year. If you start off with a custom career the sponsors revenue will cover the cost of the riders wages for the year, but not the staff. Also you have to pay for the cost of entering the races.
Edit: This applies to normal when setting up a new career.

Ahh okay, thank you for a clear answer - seems to be how it is working.
Inputs are still welcome. |

In PCM 10 sponsor revenues were shown as a monthly payment, but now i see in PCM 11 it covers whole year, so sorry for mistake |

Yes, in PCM2011 the yearly budget is shown, but you still get the money monthly, so divide it by 12 or look at the finance list to see your monthly income. |
