When i start PCM 11 the game crashes just after the intro video is over. I have tried to uninstall the game and delete the documents but nothing seems to be working.
I hope someone can help me... |

These are the most common solutions:
black or white screen at the start, or crash
For many reasons, Pro cycling Manager may not start properly. Here are some tricks to try to solve the problem :
-launch the game in admin mode;
-shut down the antivirus : some antivirus simply cut the applications with no warning;
-launch the game from Program files instead of autorun.
-skip the start videos : A codec problem may prevent the game from starting. You can rename the 'videos' folder in your installation folder.
-Change the 'my documents' folder : rename your 'Pro Cycling Manager 2011' folder in 'my documents', but don't delete it ! if the game starts, a new Pro Cycling Manager 2011 folder will be built. You can then try to add the files from the former folder and identify which file is corrupted. Most of the time, the murderer is 'local.cdb'. |

Did the game run before? What do you mean with "delete the documents", did you delete the pcm folder in "My document"?
If you can answer both with yes, then delete the pcm folder in %APPDATA% (type it in your explorer and press enter)

Thanks Lachi, it was the %appdata% which caused the problem.
After deleting the "Pro Cycling Manager 2011" folder everything worked fine except that I have to start all over again

You have to start all over again because you deleted the files in "My documents". If you would have renamed that folder or made a backup, then you could have saved your career. Maybe you can find your saves in the garbage can? |

The saves are called something like career_01.cdb (look for the file ending cdb).
They belong in the folder My documents\pcm 2011\users\your name\database\solo\name of DB\ |

Did you do that? (BTW: Explorer, not Internet Explorer) |

If you cannot see the folder, then use the explorer to search the whole computer for a folder called "Pro Cycling Manager 2011" (without the quotation marks).
Maybe you need to alter the explorer settings. set it to show all hidden files. |
