PCM Daily DB

Hello
I downloaded the pcm daily db but didnt like the equipment was even and the stats increase of each rider, and somehow it became more unrealistic results (simulated tdf and 60% of the flat stages didnt end up in a mass sprint) All i actually need is the variants from the db, anyone know how i get it without installing the entire DB?

If you simulate all of your races, you shouldn't blame any DB for the unrealistic results  Quick simulation always gives weird results in PCM, no matter what DB you've installed.. anyway: if you only want to use the variants, you can just use another DB and the variants (that came with PCMdaily) will be used in any career, you start.

Install the DB in a different directory and go into the file...
CM_Stages... copy the stages and paste in your game directory.
I would wait until the actual final expansion pack is released

Is there any db's in here that gives the same variants as the daily db? |

You can easily copy the Daily variants into another DB. Just copy the whole CM_Stages folder from one DB to the other, DON`T overwrite files, but copy all non existing ones.
This is the easiest way.
Then start a new career. |

How can i copy variants from the db when i havent installed it yet?
Could be a noobish question but havent rly used db's before now. |

Install PCMDaily DB in an empty folder.
Then install the favourited DB in the game folder like it says in the installation tutorial.
Then copy the CM Stages folder. |

If you only want the variants, you can choose any DB you want The variants are not DB-related, they will be loaded into your DB in 2nd year of a career. As long as you have the stages and variant-folder from PCMdaily-pack installed (which happens, if you install this DB correctly), this will work for other DB's, too. If you have an editor like Lachi's or PCM Fast Editor, you may have to check if the names of the variants are correct, but I guess, it's the same as in the Original DB.. I always play with PCM daily DB, so I can't give you a tipp for a better one I repeat: Simulating is sh***t in PCM

Even equipment: All equipment - in any DB - is even. Even if equipment 1 has 5 stars, and equipment 2 has 1 star, it's even. That's just how the game works

one question about variants. i've installed the PCMDaily DB and all the new races and variants are now inside the CM_Stages folder, but the variant folder, which is inside it, is empty. will them work? or should i move all the new variants to the variants folder? thanks in advance. |

You need .descr.xml and rules.xml files in the folder called "variants", yes. |

I have seen this problem 1-2 times on the Sattlerei as well. Probably a download problem and you might ave to download again. ;(
If not already done, you should do it with a DL Manager. |
