I have a problem with this pack. I have dowloaded it and did what the instruction told me to do, but still it does not work. I know i must use the officialrealse cdb when i have installed the pack, but when i start a new carrer the same stupid names and teams are still there. What have i done wrong? |

My guess is that you didn't install the database to the folder where the game is installed. |

You have to open options (in the main interface) go to the database menu, select the expansionpack database (usually callde pcmdaily_expansionpack or something like that) and then press standard DB.
Now it should work. The official releaseDB has nothing ffrom the expansion pack encoded...

Do you have to use the official release db for the 11 expansion pack?

Not true, Miggi. The DB that comes with the Expansion Pack is called OfficialRelease.cdb and overwrites the standard database.
However, when downloading the Fix, you have to select the Expansion Pack in Options -> Database. But we're not at that point yet. First, the original poster has to install the DB to the correct folder. |

The correct folder is the one where you installed the game. It's difficult for us to know where you installed the game |

Don`t mix up the two meanings of database.
The whole thing (PCM Daily DB) has to be installed into the game folder as CT said. This shouldn`t be in the MyDocs folder.
The .cdb file, that is also called database has to be copied into MyDocs/PCM2011/user/your username/database/ |

I've got a problem with the new DB too. All the new teams and races are there and everything, but come second season and it's the same races all over again. No variations.
I've chosen the 5.1-update. Did I forget something?
P.S.: Thanks for all your hard work with the DB.. |

Check your variant folder in CM_Stages if there are files.
Also you should go on in the 2nd season. It`s about the 3rd or 6th of January when they change. |

It has been explained. What is wrong with the instructions?
But here goes for you:
Install the DB
1. Download the three files.
2. Double click the EXE file of these 3.
3. Click next until your reach the 4th step
4. Select C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011
5. Continue and wait until the DB has been installed
Install the FIX
1. Download the fix
2. Navigate to this folder "MyDocs/PCM2011/user/your username/database/"
3. Put the downloaded file into this folder
4. Start the game
5. Go to the database options
6. Select the file
7. Close Options
8. Start a new career
BTW: You can skip the download, if you already have these files.

Nah, you didn't. If you had done exactly what Lachi just said, it would work just fine. |

I installed the exe normally and, after reading the patch notes, put the db fix in;
Documents > Pro Cycling Manager 2011 > Database
The Database folder didn't exist so I just made one. Loaded the game up, fixed db available and working fine. |
