Hello.
I'm making a stage race called Tour of Scandinavia.
I want to name the start and end to make it feel more realistic.
For instance, we have a city called Odense in Denmark.
I have a prologue there, so I want it to be named: Odense - Odense.
So, does anyone know how I name start and finish?
Or does anyone know where I can find a manual for the stage editor?
Thank you very much.

There are two places where you have to type in the starts.
In the stage editor go to Route->sprint
Then on the right you can place the names for start, finish and intermediates.
These will be shown in the race preview then or ingame in the sprint menu.
For the real stage name, that is shown next to the profile, you have to edit the DB. In STA_Stage you can name the stage. So Odense - Odense for example.

I strongly recommend keeping it. If you find a bug or something in the stage later you will need the .zcts file to be able to edit the stage.

You don't have to keep this .zcts-files, but it's always good to have this files as a backup. Because once you exported the stages, you can't edit this exported files anymore.

I find the "Profile View" to be really buggy.
When i made the route, the start and finish it either does not show the profile, or it shows a faulty one which has no ending. Restarting the program usually does the trick though, it's just plain annoying.
And what does it mean when it tells me: Can not create stage, DEM file does not exist.?
Is there a way to edit how many points are awarded from sprints and mountain sprints?
Any tips?

The area where your stage is isn't included in the stage editor.
Download these .dem packs:

Oh shit, there are no DEM packs for Scandinavia. Sweden and Norway at least. |

As far as I know, several people tried to create them, but it's not possible to get them working for StageEditor
