I dont know if there is any good usable thread about this topic.

I see this race mode, to be the best in the Manager perspective of the game.
I can just hope that cyanide will move the focus more to the manager parts now, after af very successfull version this year with alot of improvements and revamped parts of the game.

So.

Have anyone of you have some success doing a career by using the detailed sim.

How to setup a good team tactics
For Sprinters (On flat stages / Finishes):
For Punchers (On single hilly stages/finishes):
For Punchers (On hilly stage races):
For Your GC (On Hilly/Mountain Stage races):

I enjoyed mixing the Detailed Sim with full 3D for my career in PCM10, but so far in PCM11 I have found it appalling for a few reasons:

Breakaways get reeled in to sometimes 30s with 10km to go then they manage to stay away and win by 30s.

Sprinters regularly seem to just roll across the line behind their leadout man. I know there were some issues with this in PCM10, but in PCM11 it seems even worse :-(

i find it ok ive won a few races and gone bad in some too Wink

Thx for your inputs.

I will of course mix it with the 3D Mode, because 3D Mode is after all the main part of the game, and the best mode to play PCM races in Grin
