Hi, just experienced this problem today, when i press the load button to load a game, the game just closes, however it will work when i play a single game but then i wont e able to load up the saved game, im running the latest patch
This sounds like a corrupt save. Go to the folder: (My documents)\Pro Cycling Manager 2011\Users\(your name)\Database\Solo\(name of DB)
Then remove all files from that folder (move them if you don't want to lose your careers) and try again (Start game, start race, exit, then load again). If this does work, then you can try to recover your save by putting them back one by one and testing after each file.
BTW: The saves have the ending .cdb. Files with the ending .cdi can be deleted, the other files are backups of the similar named saves.

I had this guys problem, now my game just comes up with a black screen and then just goes away without explanation
Is there any other possibilities, because I had this problem and I deleted the saves but my problem remains
I've had that problem as well, and i have found the save that is "corrupt" as you say. Can I get that save back? And can I make sure that doesn't happen to any other saves i have?
Of course you cannot prevent it.
But there are backups: Delete the corrupt save, then remove the ~ from the file with the same name as your save. Now load it in the game. If this does not work, look in the folder called weeklysave. Take the latest file and put it into the folder of your saves, then load it in the game.
