Estonian Cycling Project
gilles23
Welcome to my story. It's about a costum team called Estonian Cycling Project. The Estonian teams is based around Rein Taaramae. Next to him there are some other known Estonian riders as Kalle Krit, Rene Mandri and Tanel Kangert. Those riders are accompanied by young talents. Mostly from Estonia but also one guy from Slovania and one guy from Ukraine. Our goals are to develop young Estonian riders and use them to become a Pro Tour Team. And maybe Rein Taaramae can become the first Estonian on the podium of the biggest race in cycling, the Tour de France.

Some Practical info:
PCM 2011
Patch: 1.0.3.0.
PCMFrance RealName DB V10

Our Goals for the first season are simple. Show our jersey and country to the world! Rein Taaramae will peak early in the season to races like Paris- Nice en Criterium International. He will peak again around the Vuelta but chances are slim we can participate so probably in August for races like Vuelta a Burgos and Tour de l'Ain.

I have one question, im a rookie to writing story's so it might sound stupid but how do you take screens from the replay? i tried it with different methods but or i get only one screen with the blue bar with x8 on the screen or i get BIN-files?

valverde321
If you want to take screens during the stage you can hit Ctrl-U to get rid of all the bars, then hit ctrl-T to take a screenshot which will appear in your screenshots folder in your documents.

Or you can take them during a replay but ctrl-U doesn't work in replay however most of the bars disappear in replay mode, only the stuff on the right stays.

Edit: I used to take all my screens in replay mode but after a while I started taking them during the race, I feel you forget less things, and it saves time.

Thank you very much

Well I wasn't able to take screens during the first two stages and that's a real shame. The first stage was a flat one and when the pack had catched the breakaway they slowed down a lot with 5 km to go. So I decided to attack with Kalle Kriit and he was accompanied by Thomas Vedel Kvist. Kriit was in the weel of Kvist and took an unexpected victory for the team.
Top 10:
Kalle Kriitt
Thomas Vedel Kvist
Russel Downing
Juan Pablo Forrero Carreno
Giovanni Visconti
Alexandre Blain
André Schulze
Manuel Cardoso
Aldo Ino Ilesic
René Mandri

The second one was flat and ended in a mass-sprint. Visconti won due to a very good lead-out by Oscar Gatto in front of Downing and Mandri. Another nice result for the team. We tried to defend Kriit's yellow jersey but Downing took it by boni-seconds

Tour of Langkawi: Stage 3 (flat stage)

A flat stage which will most likely end up in a mass sprint finish. A break of 8 riders was formed. Wetterhal, Shaw, Buchachek, Jebjerg, Anderson, Schar, Bertogliati and Janiszewski are in there.

With 75 Km to go, the gap is 6.00 minutes and Farnese Vini, An Post and Sky start riding.

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi3pic3.jpg
With 17 Km to go, the gap is still 1.45 min. The last 20 Km are downhill so the escapees can make it!

Le Tour de Langkawi stage 4

A hilly stage with 2 tough hills in the last 30 km and finish on top of the last.
Our goal is simple, make sure Taaramae ends with the first group so he can make a difference on toworrow's stage to Genting Highlands. We might also try to get in a breakaway for KoM-points but we don't have anyone good on hills except of Taaramae and Mandri who will help Taaramae so...

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi4pic1.jpgrst KoM-sprint 1. Rabsthun 2. Anderson 3. Wetterhal

They are joined by Gatto, Callegarin and Reynes for the Break of the Day

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi4pic3.jpg
25 Km to go, Rjabsthun couldn't follow the tempo and went back to the bunch. Jufre joined the break. They still have a 2 min 45 lead on the pack.

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi4pic5.jpg
The group with favourites closed the gap on Jufre and with 5 Km to go Visconti attacked. Taaramae was the only who followed, they immediately had a 30 sec gap an the group and they would fight for the win.

Visconti wins his second stage ahead of Taaramae. Martin leads the second group at 21 seconds.

Le Tour de Langkawi Stage 5

A mountain stage up to Genting Highlands. Rein Taaramae will try to fight for the stage and take the leader jersey from Visconti.

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi5Stage.jpg

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi5pic1.jpg
The break of the Day consists out of 5 riders. Kvist, second on the first stage, is the most important.

Kessiakof tries his luck on the first slopes of the climb to Genting Highlands

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi5pic3.jpg
The pack splits thanks to a high pace by Viikmae 30 riders remaining

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi5pic4.jpg
Taaramae and Martin do high pace. Only 4 riders can follow. Race leader Visconti is in the second group

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi5pic5.jpg
With 2km to go, Martin and Taaramae get a gap on the rest. It looks like they will fight for today's victory.

i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/Gilles_Vanloock/Langkawi5pic6.png
But NO! Rujano rode a very fast last km and wins today. New race leader Taaramae second. Martin third.

Le Tour de Langkawi stage 6

An easy flat stage wich should and in a mass sprint

Nothing special happened. A break got away and got caught. So mass sprint finish.

Last km, Visconti in front after again a strong leadout by Gatto
