I'm supposing that you're referring tot he database editor that comes with the game - and I'm also guessing that you get the HIL/MON value from the list of Tour Types:
HIL/MON means that the race is suited for hilly riders / climbers
PL/HIL means that the race is suited for sprinters/rouleurs and hilly riders.
gene_mountain value is the importance of the hill/mountain stat on the stage. If set to 1, the mountain stat counts on the climbs. If set to 0, the hilly stat counts.
Uphill sprint defines whether the sprint stat or the hilly stat is used during an uphill sprint. |

i saw HIL/MON and PL/HIL in the game editor at race infos schedule
i saw gene_mountain and uphillsprint in game stage editor or in the fulleditor 4.00
so you are saying that HIL/MON and PL/HIL dont have any impact in the game (they are only informations about stage)
instead gene_mountain value and uphillsprint value have an infuence on the speed of raiders? |

I didn't say that.
It influences the type of riders that will show up at the race.
Concerning the mountain value and uphill sprint: It does what I just said above. But yes, it has a huge importance in 3D race. |

ty i understand but i need a bit more deep infos...
i know following ranges:
HIL/MON range is (0-100)
uphillsprint range is (0-70 because there is a fixed value of 30 for PLAIN)
so we can consider a stage HIL/MON=30 and uphillsprint=70
cyclist A: PL=60 HIL=70 MON=80
cyclist B: PL=70 HIL=80 MON=70
i want to know who is the best on a climb and who is the best on the flat of that stage:
i suppose i have to do for the climb(based on HIL/MON=30):
cyclist A=70*0.3+80*0.7 = 77
cyclist B=80*0.3+70*0.7 = 73
and what about uphillsprint?
ty

I have no idea what you're talking about now. Show me a screenshot of the HIL/MON, and I may be able to answer you. |

Uphill sprint of 70 means that the hill stat counts 70, the SP stat 30 in a sprint.
Mountain/hill of 30 means that the HI stat counts 70, the mountain stat 30 on all climbs on the stage. |

Can you give me some tips on how you can see that ingame without Cheating (by first looking in the DB).
I know some races are quite obvious, but there are still a grey zone.
But i guess its simply by looking at the stages/races before entering them? |

You cannot see the numbers in the game.
You should be able to tell by looking at the profile but the DB-maker could have messed it up, so there are chances for an error. |
