Just 6 ProTour races have yet to reveal the Continental wildcard team they will be welcoming to their race, and that's about to change!
And just as they opened Part 1 of the Stage Race thread, they open Part 2. Pokerstars.com and Jose Rujano have been invited to participate in the Tour of Romandie, with support from Christophe Kern.
Now to the races that clash with the Grand Tours. And it is only suitable that an American team receives a wildcard for the Tour of California (even if their leader is Croatian), and it is Hollister Pro Cycling and Robert Kiserlovski who will ride here. Over to Ireland, and a ProTour debut is received for the Oz Cycling Project in the FBD Eire Tour.
Next are two races the clash with each other. The Dauphine Libert gives Saab-Scania their 2nd wildcard of the season, while the Tour de Suisse have a place for Vespa - Aprilia - De Roas, and will hope that Pozzovivvo is not too tired out from the Giro.
Finally, the Vuelta a Colombia. The wildcard here goes to Jayco - Red Bull, and so another chance for John Gadret.

*Rushes to send gifts to the Colombian mafia*
Jayco Red Bull hopes this glosses over the disappointment Cafe de Colombia fans feel when John Gadret denies Cunego his Tour win. Let us hear them cheer the hairless Frenchman onto a Vuelta a Colombia victory too!
*Suddenly recalls the Knees - Rodas transfer fiasco*
On an unrelated note Jayco Red Bull announces a special bullet proof vest jersey is being prepared for our fans from nations whereby recreational cycling is an extreme sport!

I think it was a bit greedy to expect a Grand Tour aswell as 2 other stage races You should be glad that you CAN max him in some way, most other CT teams wouldnt have been able to with their wildcard allocations

Thats true ;-) I just hoped I would be able to
Still, went trough my race list, only Eschborn Franfurt he looses out, I should be able to fix so that someone else leads Tour of Southland ;-)

wohooo, another wild card!!
to say the truth, I hoped for getting WC for Dauphine Libere more, where race profile would suit to Rujano much better
it doesn´t mean I´m complaining though

Nice - the Tour de Suisse was a race we quite fancied having a go at. |

Will be fun to see how good Lövkvist can do both in Criterium du Dauphine Libere and in Volta Ciclista a Catalunya with help from Eltink and Bjelkmark.
We are happy and thankful for this possibility.

I pretty much like to avoid meeting someone like Flügel in NZ. He would have been a perfect guy for it. |

SN, is it allowed to change WCs with another team, if both would agree?

Race organisers may not take too kindly a rejection from a team, but would need to know the details

I don't think that should be allowed. If you don't want to race the race you're riding, tell the organizers so they can open it up for applications from other teams.
Btw, the way, I just noticed - Vespa-Caffrey's for the Giro, and now Vespa-Aprilia-De Roas for the Tour de Suisse. Are the race organizers trying to tell us something?

just an idea, if it´d be even possible to make such kind of "deal"
-------------------------
Pokerstars.com would like inquire possibility of swap WCs with Saab-Scania (their manager haven´t been contacted yet). We´d like to offer our WC for Tour of Romandie and have a huge interest to join Criterium du Dauphine Libere instead (our #2 in our "applying for WC" list). We feel that our leader and one of the best CT stage riders, Jose Rujano, has much bigger chance to make good results here. We also think that race profile of Tour of Romadie would fit toSaab-Scania´s leader Thomas Lövkvist more.
-------------------
Unofficial reason: I´m horrified after I found out that my future sprinter star John Degenkolb will finish upcoming season with 3.99 and he´ll need another 2 seasons to be maxed out. I want to find a way, how to gain 1 more race day for him. Swapping of WCs looks like quite feasible way (if organisers and Saab-Scania would agree) for me. Or is there any other possibility?

Do the WC or Olympics count towards experience?
