What decides where riders start in the peloton?

Classics Specialist Posts: 3936 Joined: 31-07-2009 PCM$: 200.00	What is it that decides where in the peloton at the start of a race a rider starts? Several times I've been going for the climbing jersey in a race and there are some climbing points at the start, usually after just 6-7km. However, because my guy who is going for the jersey has to start at the back I lose valueable points. Is it random or is the game just trying to piss me off? What this game needs is a neutral zone were you could try to bring someone upfront.

Under 23 Posts: 59 Joined: 31-07-2007 PCM$: 200.00	If that happens - just send another team member who is close to the front off the front to 'steal' points. Usually the early climbs don't carry a ton of points anyway.
