When voting for the Cyanide trophy, the journalist votes for their nationalities. Isn't that not fair?

I think it's kinda funny because it depicts how many people feel. I don't know how it's this year, but last year it didn't really become a problem. The best rider usually won no matter where he was from.

It was the same last year. A Spaniard had more voters than someone from Canada for example.
But normally the winner was deserved. The 2nd and 3rd might be weird sometimes but this doesn`t really matter then.

Does winning it gives you any morale boost or anything ? Or is just for realism of the game, not having any effect on the game.

It's just for the "show", as far as I know. It doesn't influence the riders.
