Who deserves what and who does not deserve that and isn't he underperforming and shouldn't his stats up a few points?
Gentlemen (and gentlewomen, for that matter), make your comments.
Jeannesson should have at least 76 MO/ HIL.. And 72-3 sprint?

Just a general comment to show what the topic is about. |

I highly doubt the necessity of a stats discussion until the pcmdaily db (or another major db project) is released. If you have any problems, as has always been said, use a database editor. |

I'd say 75, he's not that great yet, and he'll still get the Nationality bonus at the Tour so he'll still do better.
Danielson needs a bit of an update too I'd say.
And David Boily is a climber with a quick finish in small groups. PCMdaily always has him as a sprinter but his brother Eric is the sprinter, David is a climber/punchuer.

This is not related to ANY db, it is just a general discussion of what people think a rider deserves as his stats. |

Well, we have only seen him on 1 mountain. But a higher mountain stat for sure.

I assumed it would be the Daily db? Doesn't really make sense then, because lots of databases have different stats matrix' and have different ways f.e. ExCya uses low stats.

But stats are very much database specific, so its kind of pointless.

you can not update stats after any tour stage..or after any season race stage. Cycling is not just black and white

The Team behind PCM.Daily DB watches the Tour you know, they will update the stats, as the stats are not finialized. You have to watch Whole Tour rather than a stage to update the stats
Jeannesson might crack up yet, it's too fast to update his stats yet. After this preformface Vanendert should get 77 keeping up with Sanchez in MO, but we don't know whether he will keep up that level of performance.
The team knows what's it doing and will updtae Stats are realsitic as possible

This is a thread where people can say their individual opinion about rider stats and this thread has no relation to any DB and is not intended to have. |

Pointless thread by pointless user.
What if Jeansoon cracks up next big mountain stage and does not finish in Top 50 ?? Then what about that 76 MO stat ? |

What if he beats Contador? Shouldn't he then be as good as Contador? And Rolland and Voeckler finished7 seconds behind Contador, shoulndt they too have more than 80 MO then?
It is not the intention that the thread should be flooded with "OMG - he was fantastic in that race - he GOT to have his stats updated" posts - it is intended to host posts like
"He rode very well in that race and beat many top riders in good form in many of the stages. He has also been showing signs of good skills before. He deserves a higher stat".

Voeckler from 74 to 76
Rolland from 74 to 76
Roy MO 66 to 70 & RES from 66 to 82

What if ? Then you may discuess the topic, but its still long way to go isnt it ??
It's only one stage, ONE stage RACED.
Contador is obviosly tired from giro and has knee injury, from which Voeckler and Rolland are not suffering, not rinding Giro too. |
