You mean settings , i think?

what type of settings? financial? evolution? graphical?

Normal career difficulty and normal gameplay ensures neither players or the AI gets any bonuses. "Database" should be ticked (that is, on) to ensure random potential, and the evolution tab should be left untouched unless the DB you play with have made training progress faster.
