Game crashes on March 4th

I'm in a career, but I haven't been able to get past March 4th. I'm registered for a race that day, but it doesn't get further then "Road geometry", or something. I doubt it's my graphic options because everything has worked perfectly so far, I've even tried turning it further down then what I usually can run it on. Also, I'm using the PCM France DV-V09.
I haven't tried simulating past the date seeing as how I have a good chance of winning the whole thing and I am horrible at simulating. If I were to simulate chances are I will end 5 minutes behind the winner even with Boasson Hagen.

have you edited your game save at all with a database editor?

I've done nothing at all, I'm using a custom team and I'm even using the "official" Cyanide jersey for my team. |

Who knows? Maybe it's just a Cyanide stage that doesn't work.
Even if your graphic settings usually work, try setting them as low as possible and then run the stage. |

I eventually gave up and simulated the stage. I ended up 6 minutes behind with Boasson Hagen after he had to climb a 4km hill with an average slope of 4%...
Anyway, everything works fine now, I haven't had any problems on any other stages since that.

It's a little late now to be offering advice, but my game did the exact same for awhile on a stage. After leaving the game alone, it worked fine when I came back to it, so I'd presume it's just the game being temperamental.

Some few stages need a longer time to load. Up to 10min. The loading stops at road description. This might be the reason.
Normally this doesn`t happen with Cyanide stages, but you`ll never know. |
