Tour de France '11 Stage 11 Blaye-Les-Mines > Lavaur
CrueTrue
Le Tour de France 2011
Stage 11: Blaye-Les-Mines > Lavaur 167.5km

Stage info (from cyclingnews.com)
This stage marks the halfway point of the Tour but the sprinters will have already past most of their winning opportunities. After today, the only two stages where they will be expecting to get a look-in are in Montpellier and 11 days down the line on the Champs-Elysées. Consequently, it will be a surprise if they allow this stage to elude them. That said, there will be many baroudeurs who have come up with a similar assessment of their own prospects, unless they are the kind of breakaway specialist who can stay the pace on seriously big climbs. A bunch finish… probably.

I hope for another Cav vs. Greipel sprint. I don`t think that others can beat the stronger of them.
Probably Cav will bring this one home.

The finish could fit Petacchi too. The last two kilometres is almost straight forward.

This one is muuuch easier than todays stage,

It's not like today's stage was hard anyway. I mean we had a sprint between Cavendish and Greipel, for fuck's sake. The climb where Lotto caused all the mess would be categorized as a speedbump in the Giro.

Straight out of Cav's streets.

I think Cav as every other, but I think Petacchi will be there aswell.

True, it was an easy stage, but this is easier still Pfft This is a real borefest.
Complete contrast to the stage after Grin

Is it just me or are these stages boring. I think I'm too excited with the Pyrennes looming....Oh and Cav wins this one for #18

I hope so. The first mountain stage is usually crap, but the, uhm, special circumstances of this year may change that. Quite a few people need to gain time back.
