Mini shirt blender to dds

Hey maked some minishirts today, but in the guides at pcm.daily's forum blender is used to make minishirts, how can i get the .blend (blender file) to .dds (thats used in PCM)

Uhm ... the output of blend is a .tga file. These can usually be used with PCM. If not, you can use Paint.NET to convert them to .dds. |

hmmm..
Then i Prob saving the file from blender at the wrong way... i just save as, and then it saves as .blend. whats the right way to do it? |

When your done making the shirt press F3 and save in the directory you want... it will be in .tga then use Paint.NET and save as in .dds format.

ahh, yeah i saw that mentioned in one of the other threads, but i got the 2.58a realese so the shortcuts is not the same. You know how to do it then, or do you just think that i should download 1.8 or somthing? |

go to the blender website and go to the archive versions and download the version 2.49b

let me know if that works out for you? if your using PCM 2011 here is a blender file you can use that already has everything already correct you just need to find the jersey directory...

You need to use 'save rendered image', not just the normal save function. That will save it as a TGA, which should be compatible with PCM.
If you use the normal save function, it saves the .blend file, I believe.
