Can't play the game

Hello, I have the CD version of PCM 2010. I had to buy a new computer because the one in which I had installed the game stopped working. The problem is that when I try to install the game all goes OK, until I get to the "Finishing Installation" part. The installer stops there and it runs a process that won't work "PCMprotection.exe" I know that is the file which asks you for the serial, but it doesn't run.

I can't stop the process so the only alternative I have is to reboot. When I try to start the game it tries to run the "PCMprotection.exe" and it stops again, so I can't play.

Why could it be?

Try to update the Star-Force drivers: https://www.star-force.com/support/dri...t/drivers/

I have noticed that when I try to enter the application folder the explorer crashes. Why could it be?

I have resolved the issue. My Kaspersky Anti-virus was causing trouble. Now I'm trying to configure it, to resolve the problem permanently, as I had to turn the protection off to use the game.
