Proved a fairly popular thread in PCM10.

I will start it off.

Race: Santos Tour Down Under

Team: AG2R La Mondiale

I decided to put Yury Krivtsov into the break to secure the mountain's jersey, I decided on this because I have had a successful Tour with a 3rd and 2nd with Hinault and a stage win with Le Lay. However with 25km to go Krivtsov attacked and went alone. Inside 1km to go peleton were bearing down on Krivtsov, gap of around 40 seconds. With 100m to go and was ready to celebrate winning the stage in Adelaide when Hushovd, Cavendish and numerous other sprinters past me, eventually finishing 9th. Couldnt believe it, it was a great well timed attack, well I thought.

I have yet to win a race in 40 attempts.....on normal. : (

Im on normal, I have won a fair few, maybe drop down to easy for a while then move back up to normal once you are used to the timings of attacks and sprints maybe.

I have only just got used to sprinting, reason why I ahave had good results with Sebastian Hinault Grin
