Hi,
I have now finished the Giro using the PCM Spain DB 2006.
even though the honours list for each rider has been updated accordingly to thier results in the Giro noone, and I mean noone, has received any points for thier results in the Giro. It goes for Pro tour ranking and the general Uci Ranking. It also goes both for the riders in my team and all the other teams.
Also I finished with two riders in top 10 in The Giro, which was a sponsor goal. I have not received any credit for this, and it looks like the game has not registred my performance in the Giro. I have not received any smileys for my performance in the Giro.
Has any one seen this before? And how do I solve it?
I have tried to close down the game and enter it afterwards it did not do any difference.
Please help. It is frustrating using a lot of time on the game and then some kind of mistake takes the fun out of it.
Thanx in advance.

Are you using the PCMSpain 2006 or 2007?
In case it's the 2007 version - there are still numerous issues that are currently being revised by the PCMSpain team.

Honestly no, I've only tested it past TdF and I thought it was fine (not quite brilliant, but decent).

@Pana
PPDB 2006 - is that good? With all the teams and races does is take a long time to play?

Yes it does. It's probably the most "classy" DB with all it's different races, teams and riders.
But there's no point in using it if you're only playing with ProTour or bigger Continental Teams as I am.
Simulating up to 8 races a day is frustrating after a while.

Right now, I'd pick the RSM 1.3 which appears to be the most realistic 2007 database so far. The developers did, however, fail to link a few riders' photos (most Discovery riders) in the STA_TGA. Other than that the PCMGeeks 1.3 is fairly decent.
If you plan on starting a new career I would advise to wait for either the bug-free PCMSpain 2007, the upcoming Schütz 2007 DB (don't know if it'll be any good, but I guess so).

as i said in another post it is a very good db, and you do not have to race all the races, for example, if you wish not to participate in a race that you have been automatically been entered in then you can simply un-invite yourself.
and also you do not need to apply for all races, they are just there for choice, it is really up to you how long it takes to play as you are in control of how many races you race, the same goes for the amount of teams, they are there simply for options
and apart from all the races i find it very realistic and a very well worked pack in general.
